Lucido welcomes the young women of ‘A Beautiful Me’ to the Capitol

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Peter J. Lucido on Wednesday welcomed to the Capitol the young women of “A Beautiful Me,” a nonprofit whose programs and workshops seek to empower youth and strengthen communities by developing confident young women.

“’A Beautiful Me’ is a wonderful organization that is helping to foster a bright future for so many of our young people in Macomb County and throughout our state,” said Lucido, R-Shelby Township. “I appreciated the opportunity to meet with this great group of young women and look forward to all of the great contributions they are sure to make in our communities in the years to come.”

According to the organization, the mission of “A Beautiful Me” is to assist young ladies and women with confidence-building activities through successful, fun, interactive workshops.
