LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Peter J. Lucido, R-Shelby Township, was awarded Lawmaker of the Year Wednesday by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Michigan during the group’s 2019 State Legislative Day in Lansing.
The ABC of Michigan Lawmaker of the Year award is presented to an elected official who, over the past year, went above and beyond to defend the free enterprise principles of hard work and open competition. The award winner exemplifies what it means to fight for and defend job creators and Michigan’s hardworking families that build our communities.
According to the association, ABC of Michigan is a statewide trade association representing the commercial and industrial construction industries that is dedicated to open competition, equal opportunity, and accountability in construction.
